- (a) New employees of certified firms may apply for an apprentice permit by submitting the required application and payment of the required fee.
(b)
- (1) The permit shall be valid for one (1) year from the date of issuance and shall not be renewed.
- (2) An apprentice shall not continue to work as an apprentice after his or her permit expires.
- (c) An apprentice, under the direct supervision of a licensee authorized to perform the work, may perform the work allowed by his firm’s certificate of registration.
- (d) All requirements applicable to licenses also apply to apprentice permits unless this part states otherwise.
