All appliances required for electric steam generators shall be attached in accordance with the following rules:

1. (1)

   1. (A) A cable at least as large as one of the incoming power lines to the generator shall be provided for grounding the generator shell.
   2. (B) This cable shall be permanently fastened on some part of the generator and shall be grounded in an approved manner;

2. (2)

   1. (A) A suitable screen or guard shall be provided around high-tension bushings and a sign posted warning of high voltage.
   2. (B) This screen or guard shall be so located that it will be impossible for anyone working around the generator to accidentally come in contact with the high-tension circuits; and

3. (3)

   1. (A) The minimum safety valve or safety relief valve capacity for electric boilers shall be three and one-half pounds per hour per kilowatt (3 1/2 lbs./hr/kW) (one and six-tenths kilograms per hour per kilowatt (1.6 kg/hr/kW)) input.
   2. (B) The pressure setting shall not be higher than the maximum allowable working pressure on the completed boiler.
