(a)

1. (1) Administrative errors on the part of the Division of Medical Services or the facilities may result in erroneous payments.

2. (2) These errors most commonly result from:

   1. (A) Failures to report a death, discharge, or transfer;
   2. (B) System error in resident classification; and
   3. (C) Miscalculations of recipient incomes.

(b)

1. (1) Overpayments/underpayments resulting from these errors will be corrected when discovered.
2. (2) Overpayments will be recouped by the division and underpayments will be reimbursed to the facility.
