(a)

1. (1) Students visiting the home on a regular or periodic basis to observe classroom activities or for other similar purposes shall not:

   1. (A) Be counted in the staff-to-child ratio;
   2. (B) Have disciplinary control over children; and
   3. (C) Be left alone with children.
2. (2) These individuals shall have a Child Maltreatment Central Registry check on file.

(b)

1. (1) Students who are conducting practicum, student teaching, or working in the same capacity as an employee or volunteer must meet the criteria in the appropriate section.
