(a) A local provider program must:

1. (1) Submit reports of the following events within one (1) hour of the event:

   1. (A) Death of a child;
   2. (B) Serious injury to a child; or
   3. (C) Any incident that a local provider program should reasonably know might be of interest to the public or the media;
2. (2) Submit reports of all other incidents within forty-eight (48) hours of the event or the first business day if the accident occurs on a weekend or holiday that prevents reporting within forty-eight (48) hours.
