Application approval process

(a) First Connections notifies an early intervention provider program applicant in writing of acceptance and, or, or both application approval to become a First Connections provider program when:
- (1) The potential local provider program (applicant) submits a complete application under 20 CAR § 1002-202;
- (2) All employees and contractors of the potential local provider program have successfully passed all required drug screens and criminal background, maltreatment, and other registry checks and searches; and
- (3) The potential local provider program (applicant) satisfies this part.
(b) First Connections may approve an application involving a change of ownership for an existing local provider program if:
- (1) The applicant submits required documentation within thirty (30) days of change of ownership;
- (2) All employees, owners, and contractors have successfully passed all required criminal background, maltreatment, and other required registry checks and searches;
- (3) All employees, owners, and contractors who are not currently certified as Part C providers for their role complete certification within ninety (90) days of the date of the transfer of ownership;
- (4) All employees, owners, and contractors documentation of all required criminal background, maltreatment, and other required registry checks and searches have been submitted; and
- (5) First Connections determines that the provider program under new ownership satisfies this part and meets all requirements.
