20 CAR § 503-227 – Cooperation with quality assurance

(a) A family must cooperate with the Quality Assurance Unit if the case is selected for a Transitional Employment Assistance Program review.
(b) Failure to cooperate will cause the entire family to be ineligible.
(c) Upon notification from the Quality Assurance Unit that a family has failed to cooperate, a ten-day notice will be issued to the family stating that the transitional employment assistance (TEA) case will be closed unless cooperation occurs.
(d)
1. (1) If the family contacts the office stating a willingness to cooperate, a referral will be made to the Quality Assurance Reviewer.
2. (2) The closure will be delayed pending notification from the Quality Assurance Reviewer as to whether the participant actually cooperated.
(e)
1. (1) If the participant did not cooperate, then the case will be closed.
2. (2) The participant will be notified of the closure but the notice need not be another advance notice.
