1. (a) If an applicant has a pending application and moves out of the county, transfer the application to the county in which the applicant now lives.

2. (b) Responsibility of transferring county. When an applicant moves out of the county in which the application was taken and reports it to that county, the county will:

   1. (1) Deny the application using denial reason code 053, Transferred to Another County;
   2. (2) Change the address;
   3. (3) Change the county;
   4. (4) Re-register the application using the original application date;
   5. (5) Transfer the application in ANSWER;
   6. (6) Send an email to the receiving county’s Program Eligibility Coordinator and County Administrator notifying them of the transfer; and
   7. (7) Document all pertinent information in ANSWER.

3. (c) Responsibility of receiving county. When an applicant moves out of the county in which the application was taken and reports it to the receiving county, the receiving county will:

   1. (1) Deny the application using denial reason code 053, Transferred to Another County;
   2. (2) Change the address;
   3. (3) Change the county;
   4. (4) Re-register the application using the original application date;
   5. (5) Transfer the application in ANSWER;

   6. (6)

      1. (A) Schedule the interview with the applicant.
      2. (B) It is not necessary to obtain a new application;

   7. (7)

      1. (A) Process the application in the normal manner.
      2. (B) Every attempt will be made to process the application within the thirty-day time limit from the original date of application; and
   8. (8) Document all pertinent information in ANSWER.
