1. (a) Verification will normally be by documentary evidence obtained from the source of the income or through computer matches, or inquiry to system screens, with the agency providing the income, e.g., WESD screen for unemployment insurance benefits.
2. (b) For unearned income that is disregarded, the worker may, at his or her discretion, verify the income to ensure that it is properly disregarded.
