The Division of Aging, Adult, and Behavioral Health Services of the Department of Human Services will hold the area agencies on aging responsible for:

1. (1) Following and enforcing the requirements set forth in the act and this subpart;
2. (2) Implementing and carrying out the program in accordance with provisions of its approved area plan; and

3. (3) Ensuring that the program is in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations related to:

   1. (A) Employment practices;
   2. (B) Civil rights; and
   3. (C) Nondiscrimination.
