Hot water heaters

- (a) Plumbing fixtures that require hot water and which are accessible to residents shall be supplied with water that is thermostatically controlled to a temperature of at least one hundred degrees Fahrenheit (100°F) and not to exceed one hundred twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit (125°F) at the fixture.
(b)
- (1) Temperatures of hot water at plumbing fixtures used by residents shall be automatically regulated by control valves.
- (2) Water temperature in resident areas shall be checked weekly.
- (c) All gas, oil, or coal heaters shall be vented to the outside.
