(a)

1. (1) Physician services include any service allowed to be performed by a physician within the Counseling and Crisis Services Provider Manual, 20 CAR pt. 614.
2. (2) Physician services include pharmacologic management to provide prescriptions for medications.
3. (3) This service can also be provided by an advanced practice nurse (adult psychiatric mental health clinical nurse specialist, child psychiatric mental health clinical nurse specialist, adult psychiatric mental health advanced practice nurse, family psychiatric mental health advanced practice nurse) as allowable within the Counseling and Crisis Services Provider Manual.

(c)

1. (1) Documentation in the client’s medical record requires services to be put in the daily service log for all clients.
2. (2) All medications for the client must be identified within the client’s medical record.
