(b)

1. (1) The Director of Nursing Services shall be responsible for:

   1. (A) The development and maintenance of nursing service objectives;
   2. (B) Standards of nursing practice;
   3. (C) Nursing policy and procedure manuals;
   4. (D) Written job descriptions for each level of nursing personnel;
   5. (E) Coordination of nursing service with other services;
   6. (F) Recommending number and levels of nursing personnel to be employed; and
   7. (G) Nursing staff development.
2. (2) The Director of Nursing Services may work in conjunction with an organized staff development department.
