- (a) Job orientation shall be provided for all personnel to acquaint them with the needs of the clients, the physical facility, disaster plan, and the employees’ specific duties and responsibilities.
(b)
- (1) All employees shall be involved in the continuing education program.
- (2) Documentation shall be kept of participation in such continuing education programs.
(c)
- (1) Personnel for each shift shall be trained at least on a quarterly basis in the proper use of all fire extinguishers and the procedure to follow in the case of fire or explosion.
- (2) Tornado drills shall be conducted semiannually for each shift.
- (3) Other disaster drills should be held annually for each shift.
- (4) A record shall be maintained of the drills held, and this record shall include the time and date the drill was held, along with the signatures of all staff participating.
