- (a) All exterior doors shall be effectively weather-stripped.
- (b) Doors shall swing into client rooms.

- (1) Exit doors shall not be locked in such a way that a key is necessary to open the door from the inside of the building.
- (2) A latch or other fastening device on the door shall be provided with a knob, handle, panic bar, or other simple type of releasing device which is part of the door handle hardware.
- (3) The method of operation shall be obvious even in the dark.
- (4) Automatic unlocking systems connected to the fire alarm system may be utilized.
