Personnel and general policies and procedures

(a) Required policies and procedures governing general administration of the facility. The facility must develop, maintain, and make available for public inspection the following policies and procedures:
- (1) Resident policies and procedures as set forth in 20 CAR § 410-501 et seq.;
- (2) Admission policies as set forth in 20 CAR §§ 410-802 – 410-804;
- (3) Discharge and transfer policies as set forth in 20 CAR § 410-805;
- (4) Incident reporting policies and procedures as set forth in 20 CAR § 410-601 et seq., including procedures for reporting suspected abuse or neglect;
- (5) Policies and procedures for the management of resident personal allowance accounts as set forth in 20 CAR §§ 410-502 and 410-901(c)(14);
- (6) Residents’ rights, policies, and procedures as set forth in 20 CAR § 410-901;
- (7) Fire safety standards as set forth in 20 CAR §§ 410-305(b)(9) and 410-1601;
- (8) Smoking policies for residents and facility personnel as set forth in 20 CAR §§ 410-305(b)(10) and 410-1601;
- (9) Policy and procedures regarding visitors, mail, and associates as set forth in20 CAR § 410-901(c)(11) – (13);
- (10) Policy and procedures regarding emergency treatment plans as set forth in 20 CAR § 410-501(12); and
- (11) Policy and procedures for the relocation of residents in cases of emergencies, e.g., natural disasters or utility outages.
- (b) Failure of a facility to meet the requirements of this section shall be a violation pursuant to Arkansas Code § 20-10-205.
