(a) Direct care services directly help a resident with certain activities of daily living such as:

1. (1) Assistance with mobility and transfers;
2. (2) Hands-on or cuing assistance to a resident to eat meals or food;
3. (3) Grooming;
4. (4) Shaving;
5. (5) Trimming or shaping fingernails and toenails;
6. (6) Bathing;
7. (7) Dressing;
8. (8) Personal hygiene;
9. (9) Bladder and bowel requirements, including incontinence; and
10. (10) Assistance with medication only to the extent permitted by the state Nurse Practice Act and interpretations thereto by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.

(c)

1. (1) Direct care services needs of all residents in the facility shall be reviewed at least annually, and the services plan portion of the occupancy admission agreement revised, if necessary.
2. (2) Revision of the services plan portion of the occupancy admission agreement shall be revised within fourteen (14) days upon any significant enduring change to the resident.
