(a) Required training.
- (1) The Office of Long-Term Care may require the staff of a facility to attend an in-service training program if education is likely to correct, or is likely to assist in correcting, cited deficiencies.
(2) The office may specify the:
- (A) Time frames in which the training will be performed;
- (B) Type or nature of the training; and
- (C) Individual or entities to provide the training.
- (b) Action following training. After the staff has received in-service training, if the facility has corrected the violations or deficiencies that led to the imposition of remedies, the office may impose one (1) or more other remedies.
- (c) Payment. The facility pays for directed in-service training.
