The requirement for a criminal record check under this part shall not apply to persons who render care subject to professional licenses obtained for the following occupations:
- (1) Licensed professional counselors;
- (2) Social workers;
- (3) Dentists;
- (4) Registered or licensed practical nurses;
- (5) Occupational therapists;
- (6) Pharmacists;
- (7) Physical therapists;
- (8) Physicians and surgeons;
- (9) Podiatrists;
- (10) Psychologists and psychological examiners; or
- (11) Speech-language pathologists and audiologists.
