(a) All nursing assistants must receive an orientation program that includes, but is not limited to, an explanation of:
- (1) The organizational structure of the facility;
- (2) Policies and procedures, including but not limited to disaster plans, for example, fire, earthquake, flood, tornado;
- (3) The philosophy of care of the facility;
- (4) The description of the resident population; and
- (5) Employee rules.
- (b) This facility orientation training program is not included in the required ninety (90) hours of nursing assistant training.
