(a) The nursing assistant training program shall require the provision of physical facilities as follows:

1. (1) Temperatures conducive to the weather;
2. (2) Clean and safe conditions;
3. (3) Adequate lighting;
4. (4) Space to accommodate all students; and
5. (5) All equipment for simulating resident care in a classroom or lecture (see instructional equipment under 20 CAR § 403-902(3)).

(b) The physical facilities including classrooms, laboratories, conference space, library, and educational materials shall be adequate to meet the needs of the:

1. (1) Program;
2. (2) Number of trainees; and
3. (3) Instructional staff.

(c) Suggested training materials or resources may include, but are not limited to a:

1. (1) Blackboard;
2. (2) Flipchart;
3. (3) Projector or screen;
4. (4) DVD;
5. (5) Anatomical chart;
6. (6) Mannequin;
7. (7) Bed; and
8. (8) Lavatory or sink.
