(a)
- (1) Janitors' closets shall be provided for each nursing unit, and a separate janitor's closet shall be provided within the kitchen area.
(2) These closets shall be provided with:
- (A) Hot and cold running water;
- (B) A floor receptor or service sink; and
- (C) Shelves for the storage of janitorial equipment and supplies.
- (b) The closets shall be mechanically vented to the outside.
- (c) Janitors’ closets in patient areas must be kept locked.
