(a)

1. (1) Residents shall be examined or treated in a manner that maintains and ensures privacy.
2. (2) A closed door or a drawn curtain shall shield the resident from passers-by.
3. (3) People not involved in the care of the residents are not to be present during examination or treatment without the residents' consents.

(b) Privacy will be afforded residents during:

1. (1) Toileting;
2. (2) Bathing; and
3. (3) Other activities of personal hygiene.
