Preventing contamination from other sources — Miscellaneous sources of contamination
Arkansas Code § 20-56-219; Arkansas Code § 20-57-209
- (a) Food shall be protected from contamination that may result from a factor or source not specified under 20 CAR §§ 192-301 – 192-306.
(b)
- (1) In the event of a fire, flood, power outage, or similar event that might result in the contamination of food, that might prevent time/temperature control for safety food from being held at required temperatures, the person in charge shall contact the regulatory authority prior to reopening.
- (2) Upon receiving notice of this occurrence, the regulatory authority shall take whatever action it deems necessary to protect the public health.
