Variances and exemptions
Arkansas Code § 20-7-109
(a) A review of chemical and physical analyses for public water systems in the State of Arkansas indicates that a program of variances and exemptions is not needed by the state.
(b) If the need arises, the Department of Health is authorized to implement a program of variances and exemptions consistent with the requirements of the National Primary Drinking Water Regulations, 40 C.F.R. pts. 141 – 143.
