All pools and other related facilities shall comply with all appropriate state laws and rules, including but not limited to the following:
- (1) Department of Health Rules Pertaining to General Sanitation, 20 CAR pt. 131;
- (2) The Arkansas Sewage Disposal Systems Act, Acts 1977, No. 402, and Department of Health Rules Pertaining to Onsite Wastewater Systems, 14 CAR pt. 21;
- (3) Department of Health Rules Pertaining to Public Water Systems, 20 CAR pt. 140;
- (4) Department of Health Rules Pertaining to Retail Food Establishments, 20 CAR pt. 170;
- (5) Arkansas Plumbing Code, 17 CAR pt. 65;
- (6) Fuel Gas Code, 17 CAR pt. 67;
- (7) Arkansas State Mechanical Code, 17 CAR pt. 260;
- (8) Arkansas state licensing law for contractors (Act 50);
- (9) Any federal regulations pertaining to pools and spas;
- (10) The Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act, 15 U.S.C. § 8001 et seq. (VGBA – enforced by the United States Consumer Protection Safety Commission); and
- (11) The Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. § 12101 et seq. (ADA –enforced by the United States Department of Justice).
