- (a) Any hospital that desires authorization to provide trauma care services within the Arkansas Trauma System shall request designation from the Trauma Section.
- (b) No hospital may be represented to the public as an Arkansas-designated trauma center unless that facility holds a certificate of trauma center designation issued by the Department of Health.
- (c) Hospitals may choose to seek an additional trauma center designation offered by the ACS.
