- (a) All vehicles that transport commercial medical waste shall be covered by insurance having a public liability limit of at least one million dollars ($1,000,000).
- (b) Companies providing insurance coverage must have received authority from the State Insurance Department to conduct business in the state.
- (c) If a company is self-insured, a letter from the Department of Finance and Administration is required, certifying the company is self-insured under Arkansas Code § 27-19-107 of the Safety Responsibility Act, Arkansas Code § 27-19-101 et seq.
- (d) A copy of the insurance provider's certificate of insurance coverage with a certificate for notification of cancellation to the Department of Health is required.
- (e) Thirty (30) days prior to insurance cancellation, notice must be sent to the Department of Health.
