All vehicles which transport commercial medical waste shall carry, at a minimum, the following safety equipment:

1. (1) Spill containment and clean-up kits designed for infectious waste and include at a minimum:

   1. (A) Absorbent material;
   2. (B) Approved disinfectant in a sprayer capable of dispersing its charge in a mist and in a stream;
   3. (C) Additional plastic medical waste bags that meet the requirements of 20 CAR § 53-303(b);
   4. (D) Boundary-marking tape;
   5. (E) Scoop shovel;
   6. (F) Push broom and bucket;
   7. (G) Protective eye covering and cloths;
   8. (H) Boots; and
   9. (I) Gloves that are designed for handling sharps;
2. (2) Emergency reflectors, triangles, or flashing lanterns;
3. (3) First aid kit;
4. (4) Fire extinguisher; and
5. (5) Spill management procedures and operation plan.
