1. (a)

   1. (1) There shall be a comprehensive list of communicable diseases for which:

      1. (A) Patients shall be isolated; and
      2. (B) There are visitation restrictions.
   2. (2) The list and other policies and procedures for isolation shall conform to the latest edition of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Guidelines.

2. (b) There shall be policies and procedures established and followed for:

   1. (1) Sterilization;
   2. (2) Sanitary food preparation;
   3. (3) Housekeeping;
   4. (4) Linen care;
   5. (5) Separation of clean from dirty process; and
   6. (6) Use of disinfectants, antiseptics, and germicides according to the manufacturer’s directions.
