(b) Safe planning for the helicopter service shall include the following:

1. (1) Plot plan showing the heliport for Department of Health files and inspection; and
2. (2) More than one (1) approach/departure route.

(c)

1. (1) Service shall be as close to the emergency service at the hospital as can be accomplished safely.
2. (2) The department will consider that a helicopter landing area does exist upon repeated or regular use of a location.

(d)

1. (1) See NFPA 418 for roof top heliports.

2. (2) Note.

   1. (A) If there are wire obstacles, wire markers are available at no charge.
   2. (B) They shall be picked up at the Division of Aeronautics.
