(a)

1. (1) Dental services shall comply with the requirements of this section.

2. (2) See:

   1. (A) 20 CAR § 41-110, patient care service;
   2. (B) 20 CAR § 41-113, Health Information Services;
   3. (C) 20 CAR § 41-115, pharmacy; and
   4. (D) All applicable sections.

(b)

1. (1) Patients admitted to the hospital for dental care shall be given the same medical appraisal as those admitted to other services.
2. (2) The care of dental patients shall be the dual responsibility of the dentist and a physician on the hospital staff.
