- (a) All intact bovine over eighteen (18) months of age, all dairy cattle of any age including dairy steers, and all rodeo (exhibition) cattle including steers (dogging and team roping cattle) shall be identified with official ID at regular sales.
- (b) The IDs must be recorded and kept for five (5) years and also must be sent to the Arkansas Board of Animal Health.
- (c) Also, any special cattle sales that are selling cattle for interstate movement must comply with the above identification requirements.
- (d) All cattle that are sold by private treaty that do not go into interstate movement are exempt from the identification requirement.
