(a)
- (1) The grower should inspect fields regularly during the growing season and rogue all plants with symptoms of disease, etc.
- (2) The State Plant Board should be informed if any problems are found.
(b)
(1) The board inspector will perform three (3) inspections of fields for certified plant production:
- (A) First inspection during April;
- (B) Second inspection during July; and
- (C) Third inspection during October.
- (2) Additional inspections may be performed if deemed necessary.
(c)
- (1) All plants that are of off-types, crown gall infected, virus infected, or exhibiting virus-like symptoms during inspections will be flagged by board inspectors.
- (2) Grower will remove all flagged plants immediately after inspection by the board inspector.
- (d) Effective roguing techniques must include removing the undesirable plant and all of its roots as well as all the plants and plant parts within ten feet (10’) of the undesirable plant.
