2 CAR § 34-303 – Field standards

(a) Isolation. All fields used for the production of certified seed must have the minimum isolation distance from fields of any other variety, or fields of the same variety that do not meet the varietal purity requirements for certification, as given in the table below:

1. (1) Other varieties shall be plants that can be differentiated from the variety being inspected.
2. (2) Objectionable noxious weeds shall include:
  1. (A) Field bindweed;
  2. (B) Nutgrass;
  3. (C) Dodder;
  4. (D) Wild onion or wild garlic;
  5. (E) Johnson grass;
  6. (F) Balloon vine;
  7. (G) Serrated tussock;
  8. (H) Itchgrass; and
  9. (I) Tropical soda apple.
