Should the parties agree to reduce the period of limitation as stated in Arkansas Code § 18-14-403, such agreement to reduce shall be:

1. (1) A separate and distinct paragraph of the contract; and
2. (2) Initialed by the parties as though the paragraph were an alteration of the original agreement.
