- (a) An applicant from a state that does not license acupuncturists shall be sufficiently competent in the field of acupuncture and related techniques.
(b) Required documentation.
(1) An applicant shall submit:
- (A) A fully executed application; and
- (B) The required fee.
(2)
- (A) As evidence that the applicant is sufficiently competent in the field of acupuncture and related techniques, the applicant shall provide evidence that the applicant has passed an examination or examinations given by NCCAOM in either:
(i) Oriental medicine; or
(ii) Both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
- (B) The Arkansas State Board of Acupuncture and Related Techniques may verify this information online or by telephone.
