(a) Detox specialists shall register with the Arkansas State Board of Acupuncture and Related Techniques by providing either:
- (1) A certified copy of documentation of the completion of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) certification course; or
- (2) Evidence of active certification, or registration or licensure, as an acupuncture detox specialist in another state.
- (b) An acupuncture detox specialist shall be permitted to practice only under the supervision of an acupuncturist who is licensed by the board.
- (c) An acupuncture detox specialist shall be permitted to use only the five-point ear protocol of NADA for substance abuse and shall not treat or offer treatment in any other capacity.
