- (a) Each pharmacist on duty in a permitted pharmacy may utilize up to four (4) support staff members (pharmacy technicians, licensed interns or externs) to assist the pharmacist under direct supervision.
- (b) Licensed intern(s) working as part of an experiential learning experience as assigned by an ACPE-accredited, board-approved college of pharmacy, and graduate interns shall not count in this ratio.
(c)
- (1) This ratio shall also exclude supportive personnel whose functions are not directly related to the preparation or distribution of medication.
- (2) Such persons include, but are not limited to, clerks, secretaries, messengers, and delivery personnel.
