As used in this part:

1. (1) “Automated pharmacy systems” include, but are not limited to, mechanical systems that:

   1. (A) Perform operations or activities, other than compounding or administration, relative to storage, packaging, dispensing, or distribution of medications; and
   2. (B) That collect, control, and maintain all transaction information; and

2. (2) “Robotic pharmacy system” means a mechanical system controlled by a computer that:

   1. (A) Performs operations or activities relative to the storage, packaging, labeling, and dispensing of medications; and
   2. (B) Collects, controls, and maintains all transaction information.
