Physicians operating a pain management program for specific syndromes, that is headache, low back pain, pain associated with malignancies, or temporomandibular joint dysfunctions, are expected to meet the standards set forth in this subpart or in fact be in violation of the Arkansas Medical Practices Act, Arkansas Code § 17-95-201 et seq., Arkansas Code § 17-95-301 et seq., and Arkansas Code § 17-95-401 et seq., by exhibiting gross negligence or ignorant malpractice.
