(a)
- (1) The Arkansas State Board of Nursing shall identify organizations, agencies, and groups that shall be recognized as valid approval bodies/providers of nursing continuing education.
- (2) The recognition may include providers approved by national organizations and state agencies with comparable standards.
- (b) The board shall work with professional organizations, approved nursing schools, and other providers of continuing education programs to ensure that continuing education activities are available to nurses in Arkansas.
