For the purpose of this subpart, these definitions shall apply:

1. (1) “Board” means the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners;

2. (2)

   1. (A) “Continuing education unit (CEU)” means one (1) continuing education unit equals a minimum of fifty (50) minutes.
   2. (B) A one-half (1/2) contact hour equals a minimum of twenty-five (25) minutes;
3. (3) “Course” means a planned educational experience;
4. (4) “Licensee” means any person licensed to practice dentistry or dental hygiene in the state of Arkansas; and
5. (5) “Reporting period” means the length of time in each continuing education cycle, two (2) calendar years.
