1. (a)

   1. (1) Upon application and satisfactory documentation of all requirements, the Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board may issue a provisional license for the practice of social work to an applicant for licensure as a:

      1. (A) Licensed social worker; or
      2. (B) Licensed master social worker.
   2. (2) Provisional licensure as a licensed certified social worker is prohibited.

2. (b) The bachelor’s-level and master’s-level provisional license:

   1. (1) Will be issued only one (1) time per person; and
   2. (2) Cannot be renewed.

3. (c) The bachelor’s-level and master’s-level provisional license:

   1. (1) Shall be effective from the date of issuance; and
   2. (2) Will expire exactly one (1) year from the date of issuance.
