(a)
- (1) The Arkansas Psychology Board shall charge a two hundred-dollar application fee of any applicant for licensure.
- (2) This fee shall be paid in advance for an applicant to receive the application package.
(b) Application fees for the following individuals may be waived at the discretion of the board:
- (1) An active duty military service member stationed in the State of Arkansas;
- (2) A returning military veteran applying for licensure within one (1) year of his or her discharge from active duty; or
- (3) The spouse of a person under subdivisions (b)(1) or (2) of this section.
(c) The board shall waive the application fee if the applicant:
(1) Is receiving assistance through the:
- (A) Arkansas Medicaid Program;
- (B) Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program;
- (C) Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children;
- (D) Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program; or
- (E) Lifeline Assistance Program;
- (2) Was approved for unemployment within the last twelve (12) months; or
- (3) Has an income that does not exceed two hundred percent (200%) of the federal poverty income guidelines.
