(a) The State Board of Barber Examiners shall charge and collect the following fees for:
- (1) Registration of a new or previously unregistered barber shop, seventy dollars ($70.00);
- (2) The annual renewal of each barber shop registration certificate, fifty dollars ($50.00);
- (3) Restoration of an expired barber shop certificate, seventy-five dollars ($75.00);
- (4) The examination for a certificate to practice as a registered barber, seventy-five dollars ($75.00);
- (5) Annual renewal of the certificate to practice as a registered barber and for its issuance, fifty dollars ($50.00);
- (6) Restoration of an expired certificate past the sixty-day grace period, the fee to practice as a registered barber, seventy-five dollars ($75.00);
- (7) Reciprocity of endorsement fee, one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00);
- (8) The examination of an applicant for a certificate to practice as a barber technician, thirty-five dollars ($35.00), and for the issuance of a certificate to practice as a barber technician, thirty-five dollars ($35.00);
- (9) Annual renewal of the certificate to practice as a barber technician, thirty-five dollars ($35.00);
- (10) Restoration of an expired certificate to practice as a barber technician, forty-two dollars ($42.00); and
- (11) A student license fee for one (1) year of barber schooling, twenty dollars ($20.00).
(b)
(1) 
A duplicate certificate will be issued upon the filing of a statement covering the loss of certificate, certified by the oath of the applicant, and by submitting:
- (A) One (1) signed photograph; and
- (B) The payment of a fee of five dollars ($5.00) for the issuance of the duplicate certificate.
- (2) Each duplicate certificate shall have the word “Duplicate” stamped across the face thereof and will bear the same number as the certificate that it was issued in lieu of.
(c) Funds thus realized shall be expended for:
- (1) Payment of the salary of the Executive Secretary of the State Board of Barber Examiners;
- (2) Per diem salary of the members of the board and their necessary expenses incurred;
- (3) Salaries of registered barber inspectors and stenographers;
- (4) Retainer fees for attorneys;
- (5) Publication of the Arkansas Barber Law, Arkansas Code § 17-20-101 et seq.;
- (6) Investigation of violations of the Arkansas Barber Law; and
- (7) Such other purposes as may be directed by the board.
- (d) There will be a fifty-dollar fee for certification of hours or certified correspondence to any other entity.
