The following terms as used in this part shall have the following definitions:
- (1) “Board” means the Professional Bail Bond Company and Professional Bail Bondsman Licensing Board;
- (2) “Director” means the Executive Director of the Professional Bail Bond Company and Professional Bail Bondsman Licensing Board;
- (3) “Beginning education” means a course covering the Arkansas Code and rules related to the bail bond industry and taken prior to licensing;
- (4) “Continuing education” means postlicensure education derived from participation in courses in bail bond related subjects;
- (5) “CEC” means continuing education credit;
- (6) “Credit hour” mean an instructional classroom session of at least fifty (50) minutes with a Professional Bail Bond Company and Professional Bail Bondsman Licensing Board-approved instructor present;
- (7) “Instructor” means a person registered and approved by the Professional Bail Bond Company and Professional Bail Bondsman Licensing Board to teach bail bond related subjects;
- (8) “Licensee” means a natural person who is licensed by the Professional Bail Bond Company and Professional Bail Bondsman Licensing Board as a bail bondsman; and
- (9) “Proof of completion” means the certificate of attendance awarded by the Professional Bail Bond Company and Professional Bail Bondsman Licensing Board-approved instructor.
