17 CAR § 240-1001 – Renewal of license

(a) All auctioneer licenses expire on June 30 of each year unless renewed.
(b) Applications for license renewal postmarked by June 30 shall include:
1. (1) A license renewal fee of one hundred dollars ($100); and
2. (2) Proof of required continuing education.
(c)
1. (1) It is the policy of the Auctioneer’s Licensing Board to mail and send electronically a renewal notice to licensees at the last mailing address and email address on file with the board at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiration date of the license.
2. (2) Neither failure of the board to send such notice nor the licensee’s failure to receive such a notice shall excuse the requirement to timely renew and pay the renewal fee.
(d) Should a licensee not wish to renew a license, written notification should be sent to the board by the licensee prior to the expiration date of the license.
