(a)

1. (1) All holders of restricted solar mechanic licenses issued under the provisions of this subpart may apply for renewal annually within thirty (30) days after the expiration date of the license.

2. (2) The Plumbing and Natural Gas Section may renew a license after the thirty-day period:

   1. (A) Provided there is sufficient reason for not renewing such license in the time specified; and
   2. (B) Upon payment of penalties as prescribed by this part.

(b) The use of a Restricted Solar Mechanic Plumber’s License to do plumbing other than permitted by the license shall be grounds for automatic suspension and/or revocation of such license by the Committee of Plumbing Examiners:

1. (1) Provided the licensee is duly notified within thirty (30) days of the violation; and
2. (2) Pending a full hearing under the Administrative Procedures Rule of the Department of Health.
