17 CAR § 66-204 – Qualifications

(a) The applicant for a Restricted Solar Mechanic Plumber’s License shall produce evidence of his or her training and experience in the phase of plumbing for which he or she is requesting a license.
(b) Applicants for a Restricted Supervisor Solar Mechanic Plumber’s License shall have a minimum of five (5) years’ solar mechanic plumbing experience or its equivalent, with at least one (1) year as a licensed restricted solar mechanic plumber.
(c) Applicants for a Restricted Solar Mechanic Plumber’s License shall have served four (4) years as a registered restricted solar mechanic apprentice.
(d) Restricted solar mechanic trainees shall register with the Plumbing and Natural Gas Section in order to record the training and experience gained under the Restricted Supervising Solar Mechanic Plumber’s License.
